We’re proud to share that we’ve been accepted into Conception X as part of the CX8 cohort!
As a spin-off from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, this is a huge milestone in Hycarb‘s journey to create a real-world impact.
Conception X is the leading programme supporting PhD researchers in launching and scaling deeptech ventures. With 120 teams from 42 universities across 8 countries, it’s a powerhouse of innovation – and we’re excited to be part of it!
With Paula Dias, Pedro Jezler de Carvalho and João Diaz, as part of this project, we’re developing breakthrough technology to produce low-cost clean hydrogen and graphitic carbon from methane – paving the way for a more sustainable, decarbonized future.
This opportunity will supercharge Hycarb venture through mentorship, resources, and an amazing network of experts and partners.
Huge thanks to the entire Conception X team – Riam Kanso, Olivia Ash, Agata Zborowska, Polly Groves, Artie Rice-Oxley, Aurora P., Carrie Baptist – and to Richard Anson for the brilliant training sessions. We’re also grateful to our programme partners: XTX Ventures, Barclays Eagle Labs, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Royce Hydrogen Accelerator at the Henry Royce Institute, and of course, to Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
